  • Do you take insurance?

    Yes! We take most Optum plans including UHC, UMR, Bluecross Blueshield, (BCBS), Oscar, Oxford, Aetna, and Cigna. We can also provide superbills for reimbursement for those who wish to pay cash or use out of network benefits.

  • Who should go to therapy?

    Anyone can benefit from therapy. There are different forms of treatment methods that can address a wide variety of issues. Some common reasons people come to therapy are: anxiety, depression, grief, conflict with children, conflict with parents, trauma, mood instablity, impulsiveness, bipolar, substance abuse, life dissatisfaction.

  • Are sessions virtual or in-person?

    Due to high demand, we are now offering in-person sessions as well as virtual. Which one you decide to do is totally up to you! We do recommend that children 12 and younger, couples, and conjoint/family sessions be held in person.

  • Do you offer a sliding scale?

    Yes- we reserve several spots for clients who may not be able to pay the full fee due to low income or financial hardship. If you think you may need a sliding scale, please reach out to customercare@odegardcounseling.com

  • How do I start an online therapy session?

    We make this super easy! No need to log in or create an account. Simply go to doxy.me/elishalmft, type in your first name, and wait in the waiting room for your therapist to begin the session.

  • How much will sessions cost?

    The cost of a 50 minute therapy session is $150. Most major insurance plans provide mental health benefits. As a courtesy to new clients, we will check your insurance coverage for you. To find out what your out of pocket cost will be, please email customercare@odegardcounseling.com.
